SYNAPSE: ARCHIVE OF THE FUTURE

Synapse, an archive for the future, addresses a changing idea of what a museum should be. Museum goers have the ability to walk through the archive and be transported sensationally to the time and place of the objects they are surrounded by via projections which surround the artifacts. The combination of virtual reality, technology, and the storage of treasured items from our past allows people of the future to be fully immersed as they learn. Additionally, this endeavor was accompanied by a semester long investigation into nanomaterials as they pertain to our built environment.
